Sometimes there is a curious element to a pattern of letters
and this gaelic script for Radio Telefis Eireann lends itself
to one resemblance. The ovoid form the l and f cause a spreading
in the middle as the eye reads which has a subtle similarity
to a viscus pesica or the oscillation of a strummed instrument
which makes this otherwise ordinary pattern of letters pleasing
to the eye. It is carved from three blocks of Dublin Granite
with a hand-chiselled finish.
