Title: Farmar
Material: Limestone
Location: Dean's Grange Cemetery
Almost a minimalist sculpture this upright stone is full
of symbolism. The circle in sacred geometry is a sign of
immortality and using it is a reference to the symbolism
of the Celtic high crosses. A niche was carved to imply
the release of the spirit. In situ this also carries the
eye to focus on the trees in the background completing a
visual play through the monumental stone.
